Exceptional breakfast using gourmet ingredients.
While the location is lovely, my room was quite small and lacked essential amenities like a hairdryer. The bathroom felt cramped with insufficient storage for toiletries, and I found the shower setup rather outdated. These minor inconveniences impacted my overall comfort during my stay.

The breakfast was absolutely lush—think bacon and scrambled eggs that hit all the right notes! Plus, it’s in a cracking spot for exploring the canal and the famous Pontycysyllte Aqueduct, all while being made to feel right at home by the lovely hosts who catered to our every need.
A couple of extra shelves in the bathroom for toiletries would have been a bonus. And while a second bedside table could've elevated our stay, it didn't overshadow our love for this place—definitely would swing by again!

location next to the Aqueduct, beautiful chapel conversion, clean rooms
The room's window not opening felt restrictive, and the shower plumbing setup was odd, resembling an outdated design. Custom shades for road headlights would be a smart addition too!!!

The location is ideal for enjoying scenic walks near the canal and visiting the aqueduct. The room decor is beautifully modern, complemented by a spacious and comfy bed. Breakfast options using gourmet ingredients truly stand out, though a bit more bathroom storage would enhance the stay. Service is friendly and attentive, ensuring a relaxing experience, yet the absence of a hairdryer is a slight inconvenience.

missingWrote a review on Jul 07cozy vibestranquil gardenwalking trailspricey drinks
The stay was fantastic with lovely, cozy vibes and a stunningly transformed chapel that felt like home. I enjoyed relaxing in the lush garden while sipping my morning coffee, and there were plenty of nice walking trails right outside. Just a heads-up, the drinks at the nearby pub were a bit pricey, so maybe plan accordingly for that! 😊
